PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

Novotel Bangkok impact located at the heart of Muang Thong Thani, which is the largest exhibition center in Thailand. The 4-star hotel features 380 rooms 2 executive floors, all type of high standard amenities and the sky bridge interconnected to Impact exhibition hall. The challenge to accommodate international style while remaining gronded in local culture was one the designers overcame through the clever application of laminated glass in the decor.

The structure of this 10-story building is made up of reinforced concrete with a sky bridge connecting to the exhibition hall. As this is a hotel, the floors and walls are required to be thicker than usual for acoustic purposes and decrease noise penetration where prefabricated walls have been implemented. 23cm thick post tension slab was utilized to help increase the construction process. Additionally, all system must be embedded into the post tension floor with shear wall installed along the middle of the building. Finally, curtain wall was applied for the facage of the building to sbtained maximum naturalI lighting penetration into the building. The hotel was constructed in 201 tand finished in 2013. Later in 2018 the ground floor of the hotel, inclusive of the lobby and reception area, 94 Bar and the squar restaurant were later renovated. As this was a hotel in the largest satellite city in Bangkok, the hotel quality must be immaculate and with our team, this goal was achieved.
